Blue Monday has several remixes and alternate editions. This subpage exists to house them, as they are not unique enough songs for their own pages.

The Beach[]

The Beach or Blue Monday Instrumental is an instrumental remix by New Order, that is the B-side of 1983 Blue Monday. The words are replaced with dubs of Bernard Summer's voice. You can hear dubs of his voice on the original Blue Monday song. These were intended for The Beach but were accidentally deleted. However new ones were made.

Beach Buggy[]

Beach Buggy is the 1988 remix of Blue Monday and the B-side to the 1988 Blue Monday.

Blue Monday (808 State remix)[]

Blue Monday (808 State remix) is a remix of Blue Monday remixed by the band 808 State.

Factory Records asked the band 808 State to come and play at the Haçienda in 1988, 808 State made a short Blue Monday mix, and DJ'ed there on Haçienda Hot Nights. The remix, which was saved on vinyl, was lost for many years until a man called Sean Booth asked Graham Massey, the lead of 808 State, to dig through his old archive in 2004. It was found and Rephlex Recordsre released it on vinyl.

Blue Monday is a cover of Blue Monday by the band Orgy released in 1998.

The song became an international hit, especially on MTV, making a significant link to rock and metal. Reviewers have unanimously agreed that this song aggro-fied the 1980-90s type song, though some have blamed Orgy for ripping the industrial tune off Nine Inch Nails. Most critics also agree that the album Candyass is only famous because Blue Monday is in it.

Blue Monday by Orgy is considered the best song Orgy made.
